The photographer Wolfram Hahn became known through the portrait series Entzaubert (2006) and Into the Light (2014—15). Both works are critical examinations of the use of media and the location of the subject in the social structure. His works Plastic Bags (2014—15) and Burgbergstraße (2017—19) were both published by Vexer Verlag, the former under the work title Draussen Dehors Outside. They bear witness to the direct influence of economics and politics on our lives and our environment. Wolfram Hahn has been nominated for a wide range of awards, including the C/O-Berlin Talents Award (2007), Paul Huf Award (2008), World Press Photo Award (2011), German Photo Book Prize (2017) and Volumes Award (2022). He studied in Potsdam and Essen.
